Good day team. We are back. The phone passed away on me, but it did give the opportunity for a costume change, which was desperately needed because even though we got the last little bits of sunlight, it is getting cold around here. So, navigating that and fixing that problem, we're back. Okay, so we're working with quite a volatile color. This is a very, very intense red. And while I'm happy to be working with it, it's dangerous. You're working with potent potent color. If you add too much of it to the wrong spot, what happens? You ruin everything. We don't want to ruin everything, do we? The.
Fact that you can't reply means I'm just talking to myself about that. You don't want to ruin everything. Ideally, you actually want it to function nicely, but this painting is coming along very well. I'm hoping that the dogs will capture a bit more of their facial character as we go on. But the only way to do that is not to prioritize that. The moment I prioritize that, it'll elude us, evade us, escape us forever. We need to keep on working our way around the canvas and hoping in that process the dogs come forward. no more yellow. Yellow is in the picture now.
The golden retrievers. There's enough of it anymore and we're going to get that clown effect where we actually feel like, okay, we're looking at something comical, clowny. Here we go. beautiful. And I say beautiful. I just want you to know that you're my favorite girl. And I just want you to know that you're my favorite girl. That's good there. That's good there. And that's good there. Jeers. Sophia. This is a little bit violating Sophia, but Tik Tok's telling me that you last watched on August 7th, which I don't think it's fair that Tik Tok tells me that. But do you think it's fair that.
Tik Tok tells me that? I would wish for less access to your personal data. hello from Napa, California. Never been. I've heard of Nappa Fuel though. H no, the Nappa brand in the fuel stations. Yellow and blue logo. I believe I've used it to lubricate a van that was traveling around the US at the time. There we go. Beautiful. I just want you to know that you're Swap colors there, but not away from red completely. We're going to get red and go into a burnt sienna. That's the plan. Hey Jess, welcome back. You found me again. I thought you'd lost me forever for a.
Moment, but look at you. You've surprised everyone. let's find the real scare I've got right now is going into yellow territory. I don't want to go there. As Mundo, I know that name. Welcome on in, Asundo. this tube is ridiculously tight. Good thing about this plate is you can actually throw it on the ground, pick it back up, and all the paint was in the middle of it. So, it's got a good element to it. Good use. You're Italian. Well, it's exciting. I've been to Rome once and it was beautiful. I love the place. What a wonderful experience. Thanks for having me.
So, do you guys hear all those birds? You do. I know you do. That's why it's so much better. without the mic because with the mic rhyme was special. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loki Loki Loki leave it. It's all good. It's all good. It's digging a hole. Let me just stop that. Ah, who's this here? Diva. Diva, fatherhood is treating me so very well. How is life treating you? How much are you comfortable to share? Where in the world are you? And what's in fact just give me the time in the location you're in and the slice of your part of the world. What.
Time is it where you are? We do. We were commenting earlier about how peaceful and incredible the sounds were. LA. I love LA. Los Angeles. I went for a run around Los Angeles actually and I took some incredible pictures. The beach with the city, the whole thing at the right time at sunset on the right day. It is just it's a lot and it's perfect. I love it to bits. They have those gyms on the beach and a lot of big dudes working out. Lot of big dudes working out. But you know what? There also is other little dudes trying to have some.
Fun. This guy. And you know, it's kind of cool. It's a very very fun environment to be a part of. Like we don't have we don't have workout places on the beach in New Zealand. Not in the same sense. Now I can go away. We see you soon. Kiss in peace. Fair enough. When you say kiss in peace, do you mean kiss in peace as in like do that on your own time? I think you mean kiss and I think you said that as well. Sorry. kiss and peace. Parents who date, I like that. I could learn a lot from you because that's something.
That me and Shelby need to do more of dating. We're born the parent trap and we are not parents who date. In fact, parents who date, I'm sorry. You're probably on a relaxation thing right now. You're not here to get harassed by a random live stream that you came across of a dude who's painting and probably a foreign country. What's the biggest piece of advice you've got? And when I Ah, that's a real leading statement. Let me Can I change it? What is the first piece of advice you've got? The first piece, not the biggest piece, the first stone. If you were to build a.
Series of cobblestones out to a perfect goal, what would the first cobblestone look like for parents who died? Speaking of which, my other parent just arrived home. I've got no idea what you'll come back with, so I'm very excited. my daughter is doing amazingly. She is the biggest delight. She owns the studio. She says, "Daddy, painting, painting, painting." As if there's no a in painting and it's gorgeous. I have a select group of paints for her. She absolute >> >> Find a sitter. Yeah. Yeah. Love that. Love that. You know, that's that's good advice. That's really good advice. sorry. She says painting.
And I've got a series of temper paints for her which are easily wash outable, really delicate, not toxic paints. in any form, eat them, doesn't matter. But she hates them. And the reason she hates them is she's been with me and she sees the pigmentation that I'm working with like, "Daddy, I don't want my washed out colors. I want your intensity. Where are my colors?" And so to alleviate that, she actually paints with egg tempera the same way last is painted. The reason she's using egg temper is I combine literal egg yolk with gouache paint. And that combination creates a medium which.
Is very very saturated but not very permanent if not looked after. So she can get egg temper on her clothes, gouache and egg yolk and you can wash it away. But it also it also means Oh god, paint on my hand. That's a classic. It's great to hear. Cheers from Kansas City. Good to see you. I've been to Kansas City once and it is not enough. I came in from the south and then continued north. And honestly, I've got this love for a lot of American cities. Kansas City is one that I hear about a lot in country songs and I want to.
