All right. I'm sorry for disappearing. That was very rude of me. full disclosure, I needed to film a video for Shelby for a thing that needed to get done. I need to do it or the lighting was good. We did it. So, I'm proud of me. And now I'm surrounded by cards, which is for you. It definitely requires more context. Right. Let's kick off, though. It's finally picking them up. One second. It's finally happened. What's finally happened? I've been working on the These ones have paint on them. Hold on. Was always going to happen. I've been working on this for a long long.

Time, which is a product that's come out. My inbox usually is tons of messages from people who are going through artistic ruts. They're going through blocks or they are trying to perpetuate that kind of euphoric creative feeling. So that's kind of what this is made for. It's a big funky box. Designed it myself. It's called Art Block. It's very cute. And inside of 52 cards, 52. And on each of them, an intrusive thought that we all have. On this one here, it says, "I'm trying. Nothing is happening." And I know we've all experienced that. Now, I love this saying. I love this saying. A Chinese.

Bamboo tree is watered and fertilized in the ground for 5 years. Then suddenly, it grows 90 feet tall in 5 weeks. What that means is although you might not see growth right now, you actually doing what you're doing and doing your best is going to lead to a result. Creativity success isn't linear. It goes like this and es and flows. So, I really like that quote. I think about it often. I think Les Brown actually yarns about it on YouTube. But anyway, get a small personal goal and a fun personal reward when you reach it. That's nice. Nice card. Anyway, art block. Funky funky thing.

I would love to tell you that there's a link in my bio, but there's not. It's literally just hit the shelves. You'll have to Google it. It's on Amazon. It's called Art Block, and it looks like that. Good luck finding it. but in the future, we can make it available via the link in the bio. Right now, me telling you about it is the only way to find it. Literally the only way to find it. Allighty tidy. Let's get this in here. Back into the brown paint we were using. There we go. Just angle that slightly. All righty tidy. Some more in here. I.

Love it when it says things like popular live hot streak and there's like how many of us? Seven of us here. Like what are you talking about? Tik Tok. It's a wholesome live. Popular though, like that definition's been used quite liberally, I'd say. So, sorry for hanging out before though, guys. I needed to get that video out of the way. Otherwise, Shelby would gut it. She'd been chasing me and chasing me. Hurt is real. just to fill. Hey, Joseph, welcome on in. Let just spin this around just a little bit. There we go. When you're doing these massive landscape ones, it's really hard to.

Fit everything in the shot. You're sort of always fighting an arm wrestle to make sure everything fits. Who's that? BGB. which I think stands I think stands for big green bear. I'm just guessing how close rem Oh my god. It's not easy when you get Papa Roach stuck in your head, guys. Bands from the it's called came out in 2004. Two. What do you mean? Come on, Big Green Bear. You know I'm right. Don't tell me what my name means. Can't believe I'm wrong. to Kyle. Babies, babies are tough. Babies and women. And part of the reason behind that is their skin is so.

Smooth. I love wrinkles. I love dramatic contrast and change and colors to work with. And yet typically very very smooth gradients are one of the identifying factors of baby skin. It's a little pigeon of baby skin. And you know idealic of the idea of a beautiful woman. And so my techniques, they get very expressive for these characters, but doesn't make them, it doesn't fit what most are looking for when they think about these subjects, if that makes sense. Yeah. Yeah. So, you'll see a lot of my pictures are actually males and elderly, and the reason for that is it lends to my style.

Like infinitely more. took me took me a while to accept it, too. You know how you always you always think you're you want to be good at everything? It's hard to actually prop the white flag and say, "No, no, no. You still do it with your technique, but it does not lend itself naturally to what it wants to do. You should paint me, but then it's hard to replicate." You're right. If you're perfect and your skin's beautiful condition, I will have trouble painting you. when I say that though, I mean for like these characters here, actually, all of these characters, all these characters.

Have lovely skin. So, they won't, even though that would normally be a problem for me, they're further away. So, you're actually dealing with a genre piece more than you are full portrait. If you want your face up close like this BGB, that would be a problem. Have you ever seen the dude pencil drawings look more real than the picture? I haven't actually. I haven't. So, I'm sure he's amazing. but no, I can't can't help you there. Is he on Tik Tok or is he on Instagram or is he lone ranger out there posting on Truth Social? Am I left or right handed? Left-handed.

Left-handed, my friend. Now, I'm going to grab this here. You're going to love this. What's this? This is a oil paint. You ready? Little blend. Now we're going to pop the lid off. Ready? Yeeha. What are we looking at? We're looking at some homemade red paint. Now, when I say homemade, don't think it's lower quality. It's the exact same quality as in fact, it's better qual this stuff here. What have I got here? over here. This stuff's nuts. This stuff's really expensive. This is Michael Harding paints. So, this is as expensive as oils can get. ah, now they're all over my hands. Expensive.

As oils can get, but a lot of the time to make them last the distance and actually survive, they have to add heavy metals to it or MBIT, cancercausing stuff. If you make it raw dog, this stuff is perfect for use. I'll show you up close. Voila. And it's literally just the pigment with the linseed oil in the blender. So, all of a sudden, you're getting all the beauty of a paint, but none of the nasties that you get from typical offtheshelf paint. So, get off the shelf paint. You can see I've got it. Convenience factor. But for your big bold colors, your primaries.

If you make it yourself, you're going to be in a better state, better health. I try to find this old man. This I thought you said this old man. I'm like 32. Come on. Be nice. Sometimes I feel like an old man. You only wake up and you've slipped funny and your neck pops. Good luck. pond. Just make sure if you're going to use boil linseed oil inside yard like this stuff, use the raw stuff and check this chemical chemical safety data sheets to make sure they're not adding anything nasty to it. So, this is pure safe. It's going to oxidize to dry. There's.
