Part 1 of 9

Hello team. We were in the comment section the other day. Someone said that he took too long to set up. He wasn't ready. He didn't have paint brushes out and he was still messing around with the pallet and that that ruined it for him. So, he stopped watching. And I thought that's probably a good thing because if he didn't like the first 30 seconds, he's not going to like the next 4 and 1 half hours. that was in a replay on Facebook. So, here's our picture. I've got our little image here ready to be painted. I've got plates out. I've got the Starlink set.

Up. We might jump between this one and the dog painting yet. Not quite sure. The sun can't decide whether it's going to stay behind a cloud or come on out. So, we'll just figure that out as we go. And with a bit of luck, the rain will stay away. Loki will have a good time fetching his ball. I've been hitting it around with a tennis racket lately cuz it's just a bit easier. where is that tennis racket? Here we go. I've got frozen two stuck in my head. This is how I've been throwing a lot, but like this is just Oh, I hit my.

Cherry tree. No, peach tree. Peach tree. favorite tree. anyway, this has been this has been very fun with a tennis racket and then you do the old dummy fake. He's run off that way and then I look this way and go, "No, Loki, it was going this way, mate. Dirty trick. Dirty trick." He doesn't mind, but it's a dirty trick. Yes, please. Rain, stay away. I'm inclined to agree, Jess. And who do we have here? We've got a Scott. Hello, Scott. Welcome on in. Good to have you here. And Princess Diana. Hello, Steve. no, Jules. Hello, Jules. I get caught off sometimes.

With Aloha. And I'm up to date, mate. All right, let's get going. now Loki hasn't been for a run today, so he might be a little bit pesky with the ball, but the further I send it, the longer I get. And we are going to be working on this piece with ideally some blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah black and a bit more texture because we're now getting into the final throws with this piece. So, we can add on a bit more texture. the darker colors to just define the shapes we want. And then I think we'll be ready.

To move it. It's going to the collector. This one and the dog piece is going to their new owners within the next 7 days. So, we can't go too thick cuz the paint still needs to cure. But this is where we are at now. Let me see here. I hope that sound quality is good, too, guys, cuz I've got the Look at this. Guess what I found? I found the mic. Do you know where it was? It was on the shelf by my desk where it is always supposed to be. And Shelby said, "Where was it when I found it?" I said, "It's where?

It's on the shelf." And she said, "That was so obvious. so obvious that it would that it could have been there. I just assumed you'd looked there. So, I made a bit of f a bit of a fool of myself cuz I've always had this mic in the right place, but that's okay. Right, the ship. Thanks, Scotty. I'm a bit of a fan of this one. This is coming along nicely. Payne's gray, burnt amber. soft acrylic, teeny bit of white, and I did just try a type of varnish up the top here, which I'm pretty pretty happy with. I want the ice to have.

A proper shine to it. I don't want it to be a what's the word? I don't want the ice to to look too matte and fall back. I want them it to actually pop no espanol. Eric, I've gone through them. I thought but like I say, Tik Tok can be tough. only that you don't get the full picture from the messages. Instagram you do. so if you've sent messages on Tik Tok, did you like what you did you send a full message or did you send a just like an emoji or something? Cuz I try and get around to.

Them all, but I prioritize the full messages first because there's just more substance than it was a full message. All right. Well, then that's on me then. I haven't got round to it yet. I do try and keep the I try and keep up, but would you mind, Eric? I'm sorry to be a pain. I may have just straight up lost it. So, if you don't mind, if you could hit me up on email, that would be lovely. it's just se at sgarart.com. Super simple. I'm actually trying to do something new here, too. I'm trying to have a work.

Phone and a personal phone. So, the only difference between them is that the personal phone has a SIM card in it and doesn't have access to not social media, but things that you can scroll on in social media. It wants to just have just just just messaging services because I can get a little bit too addicted to the scroll. I can't help it. I try to help it. It's not good. and the reality of it is you think it's not bothering your everyday life, but the what happens is you start scrolling when nothing else is happening. So, you start filling gaps with scrolling.

And as a father, I find there's lots of times when actually nothing's happening. But if you keep filling those moments, you stop other moments from being able to occur. Moments that could have happened between you and your daughter now don't happen because you're engaged with a digital universe rather than your child. and it's a great example to use fatherhood for that simply because it's so stark and obvious. But the same principles apply with friends, anything. If you're in a bar, if you're playing a sport, wherever you are, on a bus, suddenly engaging with your phone is is okay. But realize that you've taken tension.

Attention away from the now. I suppose it's this is live, so this is now. But losing the now in certain situations, I think, ah, I wouldn't have got that moment that I just had there with Koopy had I been in my phone. And then I think, what other moments have I lost by being consumed in my phone? And then I try and think, all right, well, it's not just the phone's fault. The phone's actually a very practical device. So you get asked the question, okay, what what what what what what am I doing with my phone to make this time valuable? You think, okay, I.

Should be messaging people. I should be talking. I should be engaging, not not just going aimlessly through endless screeds of reels. And once I think like that, I think, okay, I got to control my behavior a bit. And thus the second phone. So we'll see how it goes. I will keep you posted. A doggy. Yes, his name is Loki. He's a gorgeous, sweet little boy. huge boy. Actually, he's chewing on one of my clips right now. And honestly, I've got a lot. He can have it. He can have the clip. Ah, yes. Yes. Yes. Painting indeed. Auya, thanks, Eric. I appreciate that. Sorry.
