Bet you didn't know that I was didn't do Can't do that. And whoopsy daisies. Here we go. All right, team. This is pretty exciting because I've got the Starlink set up today. So, I'm pretty sure with a bit of luck, Wi-Fi won't be an issue. But I do love some famous last words. So, we'll see how we go. Because we could be wrong. It could go all right. I don't think it will, though. Starlink's usually one of the most reliable parts. I'm usually pretty happy with Starling. Now we got our plates. We got our paint. that's dried paint. We got our paint here.
And we have our paint brushes. So [clears throat] that's pretty much everything we need. It's pretty exciting. Pretty fun to have everything we need. I think I might chuck on gloves today, but we'll see. Shall we? Shall we not? We'll chuck on one glove. And we'll chuck the glove on the hand we're not painting with. Should really wear gloves on both hands, but I'm a little bit lazy. All right, if you're new here, welcome on in. We're painting an old old wooden ship called Aurora. And the ship we're painting sailed around the Antarctic. So, we're capturing the ice, capturing the sky, capturing the boat.
And it's on the right track. It's not done. We got asked how done it was yesterday and I'm usually really bad at actually putting numbers on that. So [clears throat] I said 20%. Now I look at it today it's more like 60% but it's always the wild west. Now see here there goes there. bring up our photo, which is so easy to find. Here we go. Perfecto. Oh, look. I've missed all the hell's. Hello, everyone. and we're going to get through this one in no time to the next exciting project on the agenda. I still haven't told that sun is coming out.
I still haven't told he's got a leaf. It's very important. the paint company about the tubes of gray that have gone completely solid which happens. We should put those glasses back on because the sun has jumped out from behind a cloud and it is zesting down. That brush has seen better days. Grab a nice freshy fresh brush. Fantastic. And same story. We're going to stick to the whites as much as we can. At the moment, it's at almost a peak. Peak energy. It wants to be chilled out just a bit more. Bit more ice. A bit more negative space. Bit more room.
To breathe. Is my two cents. cutest poop machine. His poops are stinky, but his snuggles are supreme. Doogie is the cutest poop machine. His poops are stinky, but his snuggles are fascinating that Tik Tok endorses that, but thank you very much. I appreciate it. They probably turn it on for everyone and then also put a toggle in there somewhere that you need to go find to untoggle it. Yeah. Very funny. Well, [clears throat] I need to do some talking with AI and figure out if there is a toggle to fix that. Tik Tok's just trying to come up with new stuff to stay.
Ahead of the game because there's probably this huge portion of people who are all streamers bouncing around different platforms all the time. Like, everyone's doing it. I would bounce to YouTube or Facebook immediately if the streaming I don't want to say service, but the streaming experience was better. I just find with Tik Tok, it's the easiest to read the comments. I can make them bigger on the screen. I find with a lot of like YouTube, you're looking at yourself talk and I find that a little bit disorientating. I like just looking at the comment section. So Tik Tok allows me to.
Do that. Helps you keep your trail of thought better. but like everyone's looking for their own individual things. some people looking for funky gifts. I don't know, all sorts of stuff. But like as a base service, actually as a base service, the one that really hit the spot, this is Loki boy. The one that really hit the spot was Arpan Studio and they pulled it off. It's gone. It's tragic. yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. This is a good point. Tik Tok will ban you for saying certain things and then allow that. Come on, Tik Tok. Like, while I have sympathy, at the.
Same time, consistency reigns supreme, right? Consistency of a city of a city and wow party on the wall party on the sidewalks. Now, it's a cool picture, but the one thing about painting a dark because it's not going to be I don't want to say as exciting, but because it's more of a muted picture, we're going to put color in there, but there are these periods where it's just going to feel like we're just hammering it with white because we need so many shades of white. Now, it's not as fun as grabbing out vibrant primary colors, but up close, like if I bring you.
Up close to this, you will see a spectrum of pastels, which doesn't sound like the most stimulating thing, but when you come up close to it and you start actually seeing what's happening when you're right up here against it, that when I pull you back, and this is the this is the thing we talk about this, pull you back, you and see the boat, but up close you do not want to. You're kind of actually you're having the experience of recognizing a pattern in the paint that doesn't actually exist. You're you're seeing a picture when actually there isn't a p like a photo is a.
Fairly accurate picture capturing a light. This here is a crazy person who kept spotting little flicks and moments implied one after the next in this kind of haphazard primal way. The fact a picture comes out of it quite I would say surprising. I would say surprising and the fact that a picture comes out of it is kind of us recognizing a pattern. So, one of the cool things that happens is, you know, the artwork's made right and AI's got a bit better, but at the start when AI was a bit more clunky, you know you had it right when you'd ask AI, "What's.
This?" And it would say, "Ah, it's an abstract painting. it's not really anything." And then you ask a person is when it got real interesting. It doesn't happen as much anymore. AI got better. You ask a person, "What's that?" and they say, "Oh, that's a face or that's a landscape or that's a boat." You go, "Yeah, okay. This is interesting." So, we're actually dealing with the fact that humans pattern recognition or something inside the human brain is seeing something that a robot doesn't quite make out because we are actually getting all these little weird dots and strokes and bits of paint and saying that's.
A this or that's a that. That's a very human quality to do that. Like when I bring you close to it, it's a very scruffy painting. Scruffy is the wrong word. It's a very liberal, slappy, primal, raw, stirred up, mulchy cluster of paint. In it, in it. That's good English, isn't it? my favorite brother. I've got two brothers. a tide favorite, but it's good name. Hey, Lucky, leave that cowboy. He's found one of my rubber gloves. I better get that sorted. Sorted. it's a couple of things. It's an illusion. Kind of illusion feels like the right word, but the definition of illusion may.
