Magenta & Preparing Prints
A man named Perkin stumbled upon a unique dye derived from coal tar. I wonder if a small part of him knew this accidental discovery would birth my color in the spectrum.
Magenta's absent in the traditional color wheel. Unlike other hues, magenta lacks a corresponding wavelength in the visible spectrum. Instead, our eyes perceive it through a combination of red and blue light, creating a color that transcends the boundaries of the rainbow.

Prints, prints, prints.
Their ready to go! I've been photographing & scanning these works all week.
To give everyone a chance to get the most recent prints before Christmas, I've kept the shop open of an additional 7 days.
Had the chance on Thursday to meet a lovely Children's Book Illustrator for coffee. I've followed her art on IG for a while. She was kind enough to give me a book. It's absolutely stunning.
